Disclaimer
Effective date: May 1, 2026
This Disclaimer is issued by Neyda Technologies INC. (“we,” “our,” or “us”), the company that operates Jenora. By using the Jenora mobile application, web application, or any related services (the “Services”), you acknowledge and agree to the limitations described below.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or a medical emergency — stop and contact your local emergency services immediately. With your permission, Jenora can surface a crisis hotline number for your area based on your device’s location; this is currently available in a limited set of countries and may not be available where you are. Jenora is not an emergency service and cannot respond to crises.
1. Wellness Tool — Not Medical Treatment
Jenora is a personal wellness and self-help application. The Services — including roadmaps, exercises, check-ins, CBT-based tools, psychoeducation content, and AI-generated insights — are provided for informational, educational, and self-improvement purposes only.
The Services do not constitute and must not be used as a substitute for:
- Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Psychiatric evaluation or medication management
- Professional psychotherapy, counselling, or clinical mental health services
- Crisis intervention, suicide prevention, or emergency mental health care
- Any regulated health service under Thai law or the laws of any other jurisdiction
If you are experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition, please consult a licensed mental health professional. Jenora may be used as a supplement to professional care, but never as a replacement for it.
2. No Therapist–Client Relationship
Your use of Jenora does not create a therapist–client, counsellor–client, psychologist–patient, or any other professional healthcare relationship between you and Neyda Technologies INC. or any of its employees, contractors, or agents.
The Jenora Therapist Portal enables licensed clinicians to view your in-app data with your explicit consent. However, the therapeutic relationship that exists is exclusively between you and your therapist — not between you and Jenora. Jenora bears no responsibility for any clinical decisions made by a therapist using the portal.
3. AI-Generated Content Limitations
Jenora uses artificial intelligence to generate personalised content including roadmap recommendations, reflections, and insights. You must understand the following limitations of this AI-generated content:
- Not clinician-reviewed: AI-generated content is produced algorithmically. It is not reviewed, approved, or endorsed by a licensed mental health professional before being presented to you.
- May be inaccurate: AI systems can produce content that is factually incorrect, contextually inappropriate, or unsuitable for your specific situation.
- Not personalised clinical advice: While AI recommendations are tailored to your in-app data, they do not account for your full medical history, clinical diagnosis, or current treatment plan.
- Not a crisis resource: AI-generated responses are not appropriate for crisis situations. If you are in distress, contact a crisis line or emergency service immediately.
Always use your own judgement when engaging with AI-generated content. If something does not feel right or appropriate for your situation, disregard it and consult a qualified professional.
4. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Jenora does not guarantee any specific mental health, recovery, or personal development outcomes from use of the Services. Results vary between individuals and depend on many factors outside our control, including personal circumstances, commitment to practice, and concurrent professional care.
Content within the Services is based on widely used frameworks (such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy principles) and is intended to support, not replace, evidence-based clinical treatment. The effectiveness of any self-help tool is not guaranteed.
5. Accuracy of Information
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure that the educational content, psychoeducation materials, and informational resources within the Services are accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that all content is complete, current, or error-free. Mental health research evolves; information in the app may not reflect the most recent clinical guidance.
If you identify content that appears inaccurate or potentially harmful, please report it to support@jenora.com.
6. Third-Party Content and Links
The Services may reference or link to third-party resources, research, or organisations. Such references are provided for informational purposes only. Neyda Technologies INC. does not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party resource.
7. Professional Responsibility — Therapist Users
Licensed clinicians who access client data through the Jenora Therapist Portal remain fully responsible for their own professional conduct, clinical decisions, and compliance with applicable professional standards and licensing requirements. Jenora provides a data-viewing tool; it does not provide clinical supervision, clinical decision support, or liability coverage for therapist users.
Therapists are solely responsible for determining whether the use of Jenora is appropriate for any given client, including clients who may be in crisis or who have complex clinical presentations.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Neyda Technologies INC. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents expressly disclaim all liability for any harm — including physical, psychological, emotional, or financial harm — arising directly or indirectly from:
- Use of the Services as a substitute for professional medical or mental health care
- Reliance on AI-generated content
- Inaccuracy or incompleteness of any content within the Services
- Delay or failure to seek appropriate professional care
- Any decision made based on information provided by the Services
This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Thailand and any other applicable jurisdiction. Nothing in this Disclaimer limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Emergency Resources
If you or someone you know is in crisis, please reach out immediately:
- Location-aware crisis resources: If you’ve allowed Jenora to access your device’s location, the app can show a relevant crisis line and emergency number for your area. Jenora is currently offered in English-speaking countries, primarily the United States, and this feature may not cover every country or region.
- International Association for Suicide Prevention: Crisis Centre Directory — a global directory of crisis lines by country.
Jenora cannot monitor your wellbeing in real time and is not equipped to provide emergency assistance. Please look up and save your local emergency and crisis numbers in your phone, and share them with people you trust.
