The basics

What is a connected client?

A connected client is a Jenora user who has linked their account with you through Therapist Connection. Connection itself does not automatically share journals, check-ins, worksheets, or other personal information — the client separately chooses what they want you to access.

Connected Care

How Connected Care sponsorship works

Connected Care lets you sponsor Jenora Premium for a connected client while you are working together. Each sponsorship slot represents one currently active sponsorship — not a lifetime grant.

  • When a sponsorship ends, the slot becomes available for another client immediately.
  • The client keeps Jenora Premium for 14 days after sponsorship ends.
  • The connection between therapist and client remains in place.

Sponsorship and sharing are separate

Paying for a client's Jenora Premium does not give you access to their personal information. Clients still control what they share.

Three separate layers

Connection, sharing, and sponsorship don't automatically trigger each other

Connection

You and your client are linked in Jenora.

Sharing

The client chooses what you can access.

Connected Care

You can optionally sponsor Jenora Premium.

Plan changes

What happens when I change plans?

Upgrading

  • Increased capacity becomes available.
  • Existing relationships remain unchanged.
  • Transitioning clients are not automatically re-sponsored.

Downgrading

  • Existing client connections remain intact.
  • Jenora does not automatically decide which sponsored clients you should keep.
  • If the new plan allows fewer sponsorships, you choose which active sponsorships to retain.
  • Sponsorships that end follow the standard 14-day Premium transition.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a paid plan to use Therapist Connection?

No. The Free plan supports up to 2 connected clients and 2 active Connected Care sponsorships.

Does connecting with a client give me access to all of their Jenora data?

No. Clients separately choose what they share with you.

Do I have to sponsor Premium for a connected client?

No. Connection and Connected Care sponsorship are separate.

What does an active sponsorship mean?

It means you are currently sponsoring Jenora Premium for that client. The slot can be reused after that sponsorship ends.

What happens when I stop sponsoring a client?

The client keeps Premium for 14 days. Your Therapist Connection remains intact.

Can a client have their own Premium subscription?

Yes. Independent Premium remains active regardless of Therapist Connection sponsorship.

What happens if I downgrade?

Your client connections stay in place. If the new plan has fewer sponsorship slots, you choose which active sponsorships to retain.

Is Clinic self-serve?

No. Contact us for setup.
